GBfoods Africa Operations 24-Month Graduate Trainee Program 2026

Applications are now open for the 2026 GBfoods Africa Operations Graduate Trainee Program, an urgent, time-sensitive opportunity for young African graduates. This prestigious 24-month program provides hands-on experience, structured training, mentorship, and exposure across GBfoods’ African operations.
Participants will gain cross-functional knowledge, project ownership, and exposure to business operations in Ghana, Nigeria, and Algeria, working with some of GBfoods’ leading brands, including Jumbo, Gallina Blanca, Erasco, Gino, Liebig, Star, Bama, D&L, Grand’Italia, and Blå Band.

GBfoods Africa operates in 24 countries with a regional office in Accra, Ghana, providing a dynamic environment to build a purposeful, impactful career in the food and consumer goods industry.

Requirements/ Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, Agriculture Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, or other related engineering field. A Master’s Degree in a Business Administration or a related Business program is a plus. 
  • Recent graduate (applicants must have graduated and earned their degree in 2023, 2024 or 2025) with First Class/ Excellent Equivalent or Second Class Upper/ Very Good Equivalent 
  • Curious to learn, ambitious, purpose-driven, and ready to make a sustainable impact 
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Applicants from Ghana, Nigeria and Algeria 
  • A learning mindset, resilient and good problem-solving skills 
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Very good written, oral communication and presentation skills

Duration and Stipends

  • 24 Months: The program is a two-year structured graduate training initiative with rotational placements across departments and countries.
    Stipends / Remuneration:
  • Trainees will receive a competitive stipend during the 24-month program.
