The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme at the University of Cambridge offers exceptional African students the chance to pursue a master’s degree fully funded, including tuition fees, living costs, and more. Scholars benefit from a comprehensive package that covers tuition, maintenance allowances, visa costs, international health surcharge, travel expenses, and a laptop. Requirements / Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be citizens of an African country.
- Be residents of an African country, except for temporary absences due to study, work, displacement, or refugee status.
- Apply for a master’s course up to one year in length at the University of Cambridge.
- Meet the academic requirements for their chosen course.
- Submit a supplementary statement demonstrating commitment to climate resilience and sustainable development in Africa.
Deadline
The deadline for submitting applications for funding is the 5th of December 2024 for courses with a 5th of December deadline and 5th of January 2025 for courses with a 5th of January deadline. When making an application, pay close attention to the funding deadline.
